Unboxing: LookFantastic Beauty Box January 2017

I love the first two weeks of the month because that is the time I get flooded with beauty boxes. I do wish that the beauty box companies would space out their deliveries instead of pushing them out all at the beginning of the month, so that I could get my joy spread out nicely through the month, but I’m not complaining too much!

This month’s theme for the LookFantastic Beauty Box is “The Beauty Revolution Edition”, with products to completely overhaul your beauty routine for the New Year.

Item 1. Nuxe Lotion Tonique Douce | 35ml
RRP: €14.45 for 200ml
A gentle toner infused with rose petals and coconut; I’ve tried this before and I remember really enjoying it, especially its slight rose scent.

Item 2. Trifle Cosmetics Liquid Glow | 20g
RRP: US$23.94
Made by the same manufacturers as Jelly Pong Pong, this has a similar cute packaging. It looks quite nice, but I’m not the biggest fan of liquid highlighters as I find powder ones much easier to use – I’ll definitely still give it a go though.

Item 3. Pixi Brow Tamer | 4.5ml
RRP: £12.00
I love a good clear brow gel but I’m lazy and always forget to use them. I haven’t had my brows threaded for a while though, so I’ll try to make an effort to use these brow tamers!

Item 4. Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Curl Mascara | Full Size
RRP: US$26.34
This is supposed to be enriched with Moringa Seed Resin, which helps to keep lashes looking luscious all day. I love the fact that this is a full size. I have a few opened mascaras that I’m trying to run through at the moment, but this will go into my try-list very soon.

Item 5. Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask | 29ml
RRP: €36.95 for 236ml
To be honest, this is the least exciting item in this box for me since I’ve received a ton of hair masks from beauty boxes, but I think it’ll still come in handy!

Item 6. The Vintage Cosmetic Company Rose Gold Tweezers | Full Size

I love the vintage-looking packaging! It’s so pretty. I always lose my tweezers when I bring them on holidays, so an extra set of tweezers is always welcomed!

As usual, there’s a complimentary copy of the Elle UK magazine and that’s always a big plus for me! I’m pretty happy with this month’s box; there’s a really good mix of makeup, with a full size mascara and liquid highlighter, and a pretty tweezer. I kind of hope that they will send me a matching nail clipper next, because I always lose my nail clippers too! I’m glad that there are no body lotions, and everything has a very good chance of being used!
