Beauty Empties: The Vacation Edition

I used to do an empties post in the middle of the month but since I spent a large chunk of last month on a vacation, I wasn’t actually home that much to use up many products. But I did managed to use up a handful items whilst on vacation, and which I amazingly remembered to take photos of before I discarded at the end of my trip. So this will serve as a very quick mid-month empties post for now.

1. Darphin 8 Flower Nectar
I bought a small set of different oils from Darphin – they’re really small but they have lasted me forever. I really love them; the packaging is so adorable and I didn’t realise just how tough it is until I dropped it from a great height and a piece of it on the side broke off – but still nothing leaked out. It smells great and my skin feels amazing after using this. If I can find them on sale, I definitely will be getting more.

2. Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Foam
I’ve tried a lot of Innisfree cleansers and this is one of my favourites; even though it’s a cleansing foam, it’s not drying on the skin at all but it doesn’t lather up as much as I expect.

3. Aromatherapy Associates Revive Body Gel
Got this as a free gift with purchase of a candle. I really like this gel! This sinks into the skin very quickly and doesn’t leave behind a sticky feeling like some gels do. This also has a cooling effect – although that’s not a positive as I brought it to use in a super cold country.

4. NUXE Multi-purpose Dry Oil
I’ve been a big fan of NUXE’s dry oil for a long time, whether it is the original or the one with gold flecks. I love this. This dries down to absolutely nothing super quickly with no risk of leaving behind any oily marks but the skin just feels so much smoother and well hydrated.

5. Loccitane Amande Hand Cream
I really don’t like the almond scent but I got a couple of these free as a door gift so I’m not complaining about it. This feels quite nice on the hands – it’s quite light and sinks into the skin quite fast so my hands don’t feel oily or wet the whole time.

As I said, this was going to be a really quick empties post! But I think 5 products on a single trip is a decent amount – when I brought them along, every item was unused so I really used every bit of it up during the trip. I love bringing small travel size products because I can just dump them when they’re done and suddenly I have even more space for shopping!
