Happy 2019 everyone! Since it’s already more than half way through 2019, I do realise that it’s been a really long time since I last updated this blog! A few years back when this long lapse of silence happened, it was because I fell into depression and could barely wake up everyday. This time, however, it’s kind of like the complete opposite… I’ve been having the best last few months of my life, getting myself in shape, learning new things and being just happy and really busy. I’ll update more about what’s been going on in my life soon I hope, but for today, let’s just take a quick look at 5 empties I’ve gone through lately!
1. Kanebo Evita Whip Soap
I reviewed this sometime ago – I really enjoyed this and the beautiful flower shape that soap comes out as, which makes me want to wash my face a lot more just to amuse myself. The positive part is that it’s really not drying at all, so the additional washing was still enjoyable! The downside is that I couldn’t find it where I live, as I got this from Japan.
2. Bioderma Sensibio H20 Makeup-Removing Micelle Solution
I like this as a lazy clean at night when I don’t really have any makeup on but if I have a full face of waterproof-makeup then I wouldn’t rely on this to remove it well, because it doesn’t. I also sometimes use this as a pre-toner cleanse, just to make sure that there are no residue left on my face before I move to the final steps of my skincare.
3. Zelens PHA+ Bio-Peel Resurfacing Facial Pads
I’ve used a lot of acid toners or chemical facial pads, so I guess my skin is kind of used to it and this barely made a difference. I really couldn’t see any effect from this, although the positive part is that it also wasn’t strong enough to irritate my skin.
4. Nuxe Melting Firming Cream
One of my failed attempts in using products to get slimmer – I do know that it won’t work, but a part of me still hopes that perhaps there is a miracle out there. Actually I have gotten a whole lot slimmer, but I’m pretty sure it’s the 2hours-a-day exercises I’ve been doing.
5. REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask
I used to like REN’s products but their more recent launches have disappointed me more than excite me, and I also find them to be a little less exciting than other brands these days. Truth be told, this radiance renewal mask did nothing for me.
Anyway, that’s the 5 empties for this week! If I don’t come back during the coming week with more updates, then hopefully I’ll be back next week with more empties!
