5 Friday Empties – 15 March 2019

Hey everyone! I am back with another Friday’s empties! While I still didn’t manage to sit down and write up a post about my recent fitness change as well as talk more about the many things that I’ve been doing to keep myself really busy and happy, I’m glad that I did manage to squeeze some time to put up this week’s Friday empties on time!

1. Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment
This bottle took me really long to use up. I do like it – but I find it a little harsh and too tingly on my skin to use daily so I only use it about twice a week. I do feel like whenever I use it, my skin looks significantly better and brighter the next day.

2. Bastide Figue Déte Body Wash
This smells nice but lathers up a bit more than I would have liked it to. It doesn’t dry out my skin but has this soapy feeling that I don’t like.

3. Odacite Black Mint Cleanser
This is a cleanser that is black in colour. For some reason, I always relate black things in skincare as pore clearing – anyone else feels the same? This leaves a minty feel on the skin which I don’t like, but this is very personal because I generally don’t like minty products.

4. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light
My favourite finishing powder! I’ve tried a number of Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders and Dim Light is my favourite of them all – this makes my skin looks really smooth and naturally glowing, as if I’ve had a really expensive facial rather than from makeup. Definitely will repurchase once I use up all of my other Lighting Powders.

5. Fix Holiday Dr FPG Skincare
This is supposed to be some “super-power nurturing face treatment gel”. I just found out that it costs £245 for 50ml, which is ridiculous. This honestly did nothing for me and I would not spend that amount of money for this.

That’s it for this week’s 5 Friday Empties! Let’s hope that my next update will be on time as well, and not in another month’s time! Hopefully as I get used to my now really packed timetable, I will be better at managing my time and post more often!
