Drinking enough water is super important for a good health, but sometimes too much of a good thing can actually be bad for you. Today I want to share with everyone a very simple tip I picked up during my wedding – it’s so simple that I believe most of us don’t think about it, but it does have a big impact. The tip is not about how much water to drink, but rather, it is about when to drink water and when not to drink. This tip seemed to work really well on me, despite my own initial cynical views on it because of the lack of scientific proof.
I don’t really have dark circles but I do have pretty big heavy eye bags. I have a bad habit of forgetting to drink water through the day, and compensating for it by drinking a large glass before bed. Before my wedding, my makeup artists had 1 demand of me and that was to not drink water or any other fluids about an hour or so before I go to bed.
Now, I noticed that if I stop taking fluids about 1-2 hours before bed, I do wake up to much less bloated and heavy eye bags. I still drink the same amount but I make sure to drink earlier and through the day. If I don’t get enough sleep, the dark circles will still show but at least they are much easier to cover up with concealer than a heavy water-logged eye bag.
Please give it a try and let me know if this tip worked for you too!
