The fiance and I took a short trip to Australia last week as a pre-wedding getaway because with all the wedding preparations and family members chasing us to get everything done, ironically we weren’t spending much time together. I really think being able to just go on a trip like that is amazing and Australia really is a great place to relax – the people are generally very nice, the pace of lifestyle is a lot slower compared to Singapore, and they have really good coffee.
This can’t strictly be considered as a haul from Australia because most of the items are not Australian products. I just bought them there because I really wanted them and they are not sold in Singapore. Plus I had an extra day’s stay in Australia by myself because the fiance had to return to work so I was free to grab everything I wanted without him keeping an eye on me.
I got an Australis Banana Powder from the drugstore, and several PawPaw lip balms for my bridesmaids. I’ve always wanted to try IT Cosmetics and Bite Beauty in real life first, so when I saw them in Sephora Sydney I grabbed the IT Cosmetics CC+ Radiance Ombre Blush in Sugar Plum and a Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Rose. Then I found the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette in the Myers mall, which I pondered on for a long time before finally caving. Finally, I got a Swisse Deep Sea Hydrating Mist Toner at the airport with my last AUD10.
In all, a pretty good trip I would say!
