Hello from the Other Side

Bonjour! I’ve gone silent for a few weeks – and all without any notice. I never planned for that – I had promised just less than a month ago that I would be back and will post actively, and promptly failed to do so because I had a series of incidents that I didn’t plan for.

I didn’t have a place to stay after my wedding so we moved from place to place and I was so busy packing and unpacking every other day. When we finally got our house, we couldn’t get the internet service up and I had already exceeded my mobile plan by an insane amount.

And now, I’ve actually already left Singapore for Belgium. It’s a long story but in short, I’ll be here to have fun for a year (while the husband works). I’m excited and terrified – I don’t speak French but so far it appears that if I said “Bonjour” to everyone at any time, that will work.

It’s been a whirlwind 2 months for me in real life – and I suspect it will continue to be a pretty insane experience for the coming year. I hope you guys will stay with me as I explore Belgium (and the rest of Europe) as well as all the beauty products here!
