Instead of the usual end-of-month empties reveal, I’ve decided to make it a twice monthly post with one in the middle of the month and at the end. I don’t have many empties, but we have a new cleaning lady for our rented apartment and she hates trash – no trash gets left behind. Trying to convince her in my very limited french not to throw away my trash is a disaster and and I fear she might get violent if I did it again.
So the only way to solve this issue is to hide them amongst my clothes and post more frequently. Anyway I don’t have that many empties – partly because the cleaning lady threw away a couple of items before I could stop her, but also because I couldn’t possibly finish so many items up in a shortened time frame. However, I think it’s nice because I get a lot more free space, less trash lying around and closer tracking of what I’ve used!
1. Dove Daily Moisture Shampoo
I’m surprised that I actually like this shampoo; it’s really cheap and not a brand that I think of when it comes to hair, but this left my hair feeling nice, soft and tangle free.
2. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Eau Micellaire Purifiante
This is a tiny travel size with the most annoying bottle – I wasted half of it because there was no stopper. In terms of the product, I really like it – no oily residue left behind and it does clean makeup off pretty well except for waterproof eye products.
3. Aromatherapy Associates Light Relax Bath & Shower Oil
One of my favourite oils in the set of 10 that I bought – the hubby loves the scent too. I can’t wait for an Aromatherapy Associates sale so that I can stock up on a large bottle of this!
4. Kose Babyish Sheet Mask (7 piece pack)
I love using sheet masks because they’re so convenient; however, I’m a little disappointed with this as I think it’s not moist enough. I think it’s because there are most than 1 sheet in the pack – next time I’ll just get single sheets, rather than multi-sheet packs.
So that’s it – only 4 items for the first half of July; it’s not much but considering how much time I took to use them up, I think it’s pretty fast! How about you?
