I’m back with another empties post! It’s quite boring this time – just some daily essentials and only one makeup item, so let’s just take a quick look!
1. Sensodyne Pro Glasur Toothpaste
My favourite toothpaste of all time! I love the taste of this – it’s not too minty and not too foamy in the mouth. Will keep repurchasing this!
2. Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal Refreshing Cleansing Gel
This is one of the rare skincare products that I share with the hubby, so we tend to use this up really fast. This feels really rather refreshing; it doesn’t create much foam, but still cleanses rather well without drying the skin. We have already repurchased a large bottle.
3. Aveda Rosemary Mint Conditioner
Took this from a hotel room; usually I hate anything with mint, but I actually enjoyed this one. This is a pretty nice conditioner – my hair did feel smoother after using this.
4. Hema 3 in 1 Cleansing Micellar Water
To be honest, I bought this for the bottle because I wanted a small refillable one to bring my cleansing waters on short trips. Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed using this – this took off makeup pretty well without an oily feeling, nor did this give me any skin issues. As other micellar waters I’ve used, this didn’t work well against waterproof mascara or eyeliners.
5. Aromatherapy Associates Support Breathe Bath & Shower Oil
Another one bites the dust! I’ve almost used up my entire set of 10 shower oils from Aromatherapy Associates; I really hope they will put out another set this Christmas because they are so awesome! They smell so good and leave the skin so smooth and soft.
6. Ettusais BB+ Mineral Powder
I’ve had this for quite a while – about 2 years; I think companies should just make their powders smaller in quantity! I really love using this – it’s a very light powder that gives very slight coverage but the powder particles are so small that it does not look powdery on at all.
That’s all the empties for this fortnight! I consider it a good job given that half the items are full size, not the small sample sizes. There are also a couple of items in the shower that’s also on their last legs and I can’t wait to finish them up!
As much as I like the mineral powder, I’m super happy to have used it up so that I can purchase a new one! This is an awesome time to use up powders because I’ve been yearning to get one of those gorgeous but slightly shimmery face powders that Chanel always put out during the Christmas period so I hope they will do so again this year!
