I’ve been pretty busy these days, running lots of errands, travelling during the weekends, and trying to stick to a fitness plan. I’m always dashing in and out of the house during the day and I’ve been reaching out for these eye crayons for a quick and easy look.
I usually reach out for powder-form eyeshadows because they’re so versatile and easier to blend, perfect for days when I want to spend more time on perfecting a certain look. But now that I’ve been using these crayons exclusively for a couple of weeks, I’m reminded of how easy they are to use – just draw them on and smudge/blend it slightly with fingertips or a synthetic-hair eye brush for a quick and simple wash of colour.
I have a few on hand that I’ve been using. The LOC One & Done Shadow Stick in Champagne Problems is a nice light champagne colour; it’s too soft and breaks off easily so there’s a lot of waste. The Jelly Pong Pong 2-in-1 Eyeliner & Shadow is a dark brown but a little too hard so it tugs a little on the skin of my eyes; it’s also much harder to blend out.
The Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color in Gilt is another light muted gold shade that glides on smoothly and blends out well. My favourite of all is the Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon in Dark Pearl, which is a really beautiful taupe-brown; it glides on beautifully smooth and blends out very well in the first few minutes, and doesn’t budge once it’s settled.
What’s your favourite lazy day makeup pick?
