I went really crazy a couple of weekends ago on my shopping trip to the UK and one of the stops was at Space NK. They had the most amazing “25 Days of Beauty” offer – a beauty advent calendar, that came free with any purchase over 250 GBP. The offer is over already, but I thought I’d just show you what I’ve got my hands on!
The gift is really huge with 2 trays, and another 25 little boxes tucked neatly inside the trays – each has its own little note on the box, like a little hint of what’s behind the door (or in the box). I get a little kick of how the boxes fit together like a puzzle.
250 GBP sounds like a lot of money, and it is – but not everything is for me; it was the perfect time to grab some Christmas gifts for family, and the free beauty advent calendar also provided a lot of small items that I could give away as stocking stuffers. So it was perfect! The gift has a touted value of over £380.
Behind door number one, there’s also a gift card of fifty quid on it. So that means I get about another 20% bonus of shopping from the £250 I’ve spent! I’m keeping that for a return trip to the UK later in December, for some more last minute Christmas shopping!
I got the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim, Oskia Microexfoliating Balm, Chantecaille Future Skin Oil Free Gel Foundation, Sunday Riley Juno Hydroactive Cellular Face Oil, and my favourite HealGel. These came to a total of £255.
And look at all the little gifts hidden in the box! It includes a full size Frog Prince cream blusher from Lipstick Queen, a mini NARS Laguna bronzer, a mini Diptyque candle, one of my favourite Luxe dry oil and Sunday Riley Luna Oil.
There’s a good mix of skincare and makeup items, which I appreciate in such a big box like this because it can get overwhelming if it was made up of entirely skincare or makeup. There’s also a good variety of high end brands.
