A really quick run-through this time of the empties, as I’m trying to play catch up on all the posts that I truly want to put up and really hope I’ll be able to. I haven’t really finished many items this time; most of them were on their last legs for a while now and I just finished up the final drops/use so it didn’t take much effort.
1. Crea-m The Older, The Smarter Antiaging Serum
I like the packaging and its name – it’s quite sleek and cute. The serum also felt quite nice, quite watery but dries down quickly without a tacky feeling. I don’t know if I’ll actually purchase a full size of it – I didn’t really see any effect but I think it’s too soon to tell.
2. Kiko 30 Days Extension Daily Treatment Mascara
I think I’m allergic to some ingredients in this mascara as this gave me swollen and itchy eyes every time I used it, so out it goes.
3. Sensodyne Fresh Mint Toothpaste
Nothing much to say about this – I’ve always had a preference for Sensodyne toothpastes.
4. L’occitane Jasmin & Bergamote Shower Gel
5. John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Lighter Glow Shampoo
A couple of mini bath items. The shower gel is so-so; very normal and doesn’t leave much of an impression. I love the shampoo – it never fails to leave my hair super shiny and soft.
6. REN Flash Defence Anti-Pollution Mist
This is a really tiny sample of face mist – I think I used it up in a couple of days. Really not much thought on this as it just feels like spraying water on my face.
7. Hylamide SubQ Anti-Age Advanced Serum
For some reason I really love the packaging – a nice simple clean glass bottle with a pipette that dispenses the perfect amount of product. The serum is really nice too – it’s slightly thicker than water, but still very fluid, and dries down very quickly on the skin without any tacky or oily feeling. I think it makes my dry skin feel a lot more comfortable; I use it at night and wake up to not-as-dry skin the next day. Would repurchase if I can find it again.
8. Rival de Loop Hydro 3 in 1 Milde Reinigungstucher
9. Isana Young Reinigungstucher
A couple of face wipes that I bought in an ’emergency’ – I was traveling in Germany and forgot to bring makeup removers, hence these. I wouldn’t recommend them for frequent use but it did the job when I was desperate.
That’s it! It’s not a lot, but I was actually away for most of the last 2 weeks so it’s amazing that I actually still managed to accumulate any empties at all!
