Beauty Empties: March 2016 – Part 1

What? March empties shown in May? Yes, it is true – I am showing March empties in May! I am so sorry for the late posts but if you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know that I’ve had a whirlwind April with my wedding and honeymoon. I did run through a few items in the month running up to my wedding, and amazingly I actually remembered to take photos of them before I threw them out prior to my wedding. So let’s check them out!

1. Celebrity’s Choice Inch Loss Body Cream Extra Strength
This was part of my desperate move to slim down more before my wedding – this felt hot initially but after a few uses, I think my skin got used to it and no longer felt hot. I doubt that it made any difference but it made me feel better that I was doing something about it.

2. Make Up Store Home Spa Brush Cleansing Soap
Favourite brush cleanser, ever. This does the job perfectly, removing all traces of makeup – even long-lasting foundation that have been on the brush for weeks, without drying out my brushes.

3. Kustie Cherry Blossom Shower & Bath Gel
Bought some of these tiny bath gels for the gym; this smells nice and had little petals in them which was nice! It’s also pretty cheap for something that feels and looks rather luxurious.

4. Oseque Silk Foot Peeling Rough Skin Remover
Got this from a Memebox sometime ago. While it looks as if some dead skin are removed – there are white bits appearing after rubbing in this lotion, but after washing it off my skin feels the same. I think that the bits are just the result of some chemical reaction and not really dead skin.

5. Nature Republic Skin Smoothing Grapefruit Body Peeling Mist
This is something like the above – where some white bits appear after rubbing the liquid across the skin. Similarly, this didn’t do much for my skin.

6. Freeman Barefoot Peppermint + Plum Foot Soak
I read somewhere that foot soaks are good for the body but honestly I just find it too troublesome to do it often – I would rather have a bath and soak my whole body! But this smelt quite nice – just a little too soapy for me.

That’s it for Part 1 of March’s empties! I will be right back with Part 2 tomorrow so stay tuned!
