Beauty Review: Eucerin DermoPurifyer Cover Stick

A few weeks ago, I reviewed the Eucerin DermoPurifyer Active Concentrate; similar to that, the Eucerin DermoPurifyer Cover Stick was something that I have tried and loved, but forgotten once my skin was back to normal. There was a buy-one-get-one-half-off sale, so I grabbed this when I saw it while I was hunting for the Active Concentrate.

This comes in a twist up tube and has a solid cream formula. The texture is creamy but drier than usual cream products; it’s creamy enough to blend easily but it is not oily at all. Once it dries, which is very quickly, it is not sticky at all; this kind of makes me think it is a cream-to-powder formula but it doesn’t claim to be one. This is high coverage on me; I get pretty obvious rashes on my face from time to time and this does an amazing job at covering it up.

The biggest downside – I would say it’s the very limited colour range; I’ve only seen this shade, which is a perfect match for me but I doubt it is an universally usable shade. There’s only 2.5g of product which is about half or less than half when compared to my other concealers. I’ve been using this for only 2 weeks and I’m about half way through it.

My verdict? A very good coverage concealer – one that doesn’t budge all day, and yet looks so wonderfully natural. It’s so easy to use, so easy to blend; I always reach for this when I have it and ignore the rest because I feel this is so much easier to blend than a liquid concealer. The only thing that would stop me from just using this concealer would be the price – at SGD26 for 2.5g of product, this is actually very expensive.
