This month’s theme for the LookFantastic Beauty Box is “#LFPamper”, to celebrate the beginning of Autumn and the arrival of the colder weather, with everything needed to nourish the hair, skin and body. I think the theme is perfect. Of course, I don’t really need an excuse to pamper myself but the weather is really turning colder, and I do feel like I need more help with my hair and skin which tends to be a lot more dry in Autumn/Winter.
Item 1. Oskia Renaissance Mask | 12ml
RRP: €60.45/50ml
I love Oskia products and am so happy to see this! It’s quite a small tub, but even for a miniature tub, they’ve made it all heavy and so luxurious looking. This is supposed to help decongest the skin by gently exfoliating away dead skin cells and impurities.
Item 2. Polaar The Genuine Lapland Cream | 10ml
RRP: €26.95/75ml
This is a lip balm that’s free from parabens, fragrance and colour, and contains Polar Berries, Blackberries and Lingon Berries. Looking at the ingredient list, it looks like a cupcake instead. I’m excited to try it but before then I have to finish up a few opened tubes first.
Item 3. Alterna Caviar Moisture Intense Treatment | 25ml
RRP: €32.95/125ml
I’ve received a number of Alterna hair products and have enjoyed most of them. My hair is turning into straws these days with the heater on full blast and my large number of hot baths, so this couldn’t have come at a better time.
Item 4. Laura Geller Pout Perfection Waterproof Lip Liner in Cabernet | 1.2g
RRP: €17.45/1.2g
There are 3 shades of this which are allocated randomly – Cabernet (Pinky Mauve), Claret (Warm Brown Red), and Chianti (Mauve Cherry). I’m super happy to have received Cabernet – it’s really pretty and I don’t own a pinky mauve lip liner, plus it’s full size.
Item 5. Mio Liquid Yoga Restorative Bath Soak | 53ml
RRP: €31.95/200ml
If you’ve been reading my blog, you’d know that I love taking hot baths so a bottle of bath soak is always welcomed! Can’t wait to try this!
Item 6. Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel | 10ml
RRP: €60.45/50ml
This claims to brighten the skin with glycolic acid, vitamin C and indian fig to decongest the skin. I’m wavering between excited to try it and scared because of the word “intensive” as my skin is a little sensitive; I’ll be doing a little research before I decide to try it or not.
I was so sad when they left out the Elle Magazine last month so I was so happy to see it’s back again this month! I refuse to pay the crazy mark-up in Belgium on magazines that are in English, so I wait for this every month. Please don’t ever stop including the magazine in the box! It’s a nice thick issue this month so I’m looking forward to some quiet time with it.
I’m very happy with this month’s box – I think it’s one of my favourite boxes from LookFantastic; it looks like they’re upping their game here! I’m very happy with the full size Laura Geller lip liner, Mio bath soak and a really luxurious Oskia face mask. To me, it’s definitely worth every cent of the €18.45, or GBP15, that I paid for the box!
