Here’s another unboxing post – I know it’s been quite a lot this month but I love beauty boxes and as I recently subscribed to Look Incredible, I received 2 months of boxes in February. So hopefully, the unboxing posts will normalise once we get into a regular cycle. My little leaflet was left out of my box this month; I’m sure it’s an accident so now I can only use prices that I’ve found online and not the quoted ones by the company.
The Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box is from the UK and promises full size high end Beauty products each month at the cost of £35, with free delivery if you live in the UK. I don’t live in the UK, so I have to pay another £10 for shipping – the good news is if you purchase 2 boxes (they have another regular beauty box), the total shipping cost is still the same.
Item 1. NARS Sheer Lipstick in Pago Pago
RRP: £21 (Discontinued)
While I’m happy to receive a NARS lipstick, I’m very sad when it’s already discontinued. It makes me wonder about how long this product has been sitting in an unwanted pile in the factory. The colour is a nude pink with some sparkly bits; I quite like the base colour but I don’t like the sparkly bits sitting on top of my lips.
Item 2. Studio 10 I-LIFT Longwear Liner in 02 Mocha
RRP: £22
This is a double-ended liner which is supposed to define and brighten, or blend as the perfect shadow, and is enriched with Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E. I’ve never tried any Studio 10 products before and I’m really glad to finally get my hands on it. I like how it has the bright off-white liner for the inner corners of the eyes and a dark matte mocha for lining the eyes.
Item 3. Laura Geller Spackle SuperCharged Under Make Up Primer
RRP: £25
I’ve recently gotten into using primers; as I get older and my skin looking a little more dull and imperfect, I find that primer really makes a difference. I’ve heard a lot about Spackle and they’re often at extreme ends of the spectrum – either you love them or hate them. I’m glad to receive it and not having to spend so much money on it, just in case I hate it.
Item 4. Burberry Sheer Eye Shadow in No.24 Mulberry
RRP: £23 (Discontinued – reformulated now)
I love Burberry’s beauty products and I’m happy to get this! I used to use Pale Barley every single day. This is a pretty burgundy shade with a pearl finish – this is the discontinued version though, there is a same shade renamed as Eye Colour Silk in No. 204 Mulberry.
Item 5. Tarte multiplEYE Primer
RRP: £NA (Discontinued)
This is a lash-enhancing primer; I really don’t use primer for my lashes as I’m too lazy. But now that I have it, I will try for a couple of times. I’m quite worried about using it though because it’s discontinued so I don’t know how old the product is and I’m wary of using products that are expired that close to my eye.
I’m very torn over this box – while I’m happy to have received most of the products, the fact that so many of them are discontinued makes me very worried and wary of recommending it. In terms of value, it appears as though it’s worth the £35 that I paid for it, but if the product is expired then it has no value to me at all. I have written in to complain about it so we will see if they reply at all, though I’m quite doubtful that they would.
I think I will give this box one more month – if it turns out that there are any discontinued products in next month’s box, then it’s time to say goodbye.
Weird that they would give out so many discontinued items, otherwise this box would be really good!

I think they came out about a year or so ago… but I’ve only just stumbled on it as well! 🙂
