Another Clio Virgin Kiss Silkuid Lip review today! It’s the same product as the one that I reviewed yesterday, but in a different shade – today we are looking at #5 Godpink. This cost SGD22.90 from Watsons, which is like a drugstore.
Godpink is a very intense medium hot pink shade. Like Insane Red, this is very pigmented – full coverage with one coat. I’ve found out the best way to apply this is to swipe on one thin coat and leave the mouth open for about 5 seconds to let the product dry down.
The texture is rather unique – it’s like a thick liquid but not as oily or watery, almost like a mousse texture but not as dry. I really like the texture actually; I find this to be one of the more comfortable to wear liquid lipsticks and it does not feel sticky at all.
There’s some slight feathering/bleeding but it’s not much. This lasts a long time on my lips – more than the 3-4 hours that a regular lipstick usually lasts on me, and longer if I apply more coats. I usually like to wear about 2 coats for the best coverage and longevity.
I would say that in terms of texture and longevity, this is pretty much 95% similar to the Insane Red; there’s little difference in performance between the different shades within the same line. However, I find myself reaching for this Godpink shade more – it’s a much more wearable shade; it’s still a very intense colour and probably not something that I put on for a stroll in the park, but at least it looks good no matter what condition my skin is in.
