A super quick empties post to end the year with – I actually took pictures and wrote up this post a few days before I left on my trip so it is technically only two-thirds of the month’s worth of empties. I had an urge to clean up the house before Christmas so all these empties sitting around the house were the first to go! Let’s see what didn’t make it past the year!
1. Sensodyne Pro Glasur Toothpaste
My favourite toothpaste; definitely a repurchase.
2. Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Shampoo
3. Living Proof Frizz Shampoo
I love Living Proof shampoo – I think they work wonders on my hair. My hair always look so good and smooth, even after just using the shampoo without the conditioner or other haircare products and I always get comments on whether I’ve done something with my hair. They’re quite expensive so I don’t use it everyday.
4. Nashi Argan Night Program Hairloss Prevention
The last bottle of a box of hairloss treatment. I don’t know if it worked but the husband noted that there’s been a lot less hair on the floor around the house so maybe it did.
5. Monte Vibiano City Cream
An anti-aging moisturizer that I took from a hotel I think. Not a fan – a little too thick.
6. Shokubutsu Radiance Body Foam
I really enjoy this – smells great and is so affordable. Plus it doesn’t dry my skin out – it’s more like a cream bath than a bath foam.
7. Sebamed Anti-Hairloss Shampoo
Another anti-hairloss item; I also don’t know if it worked because I’ve been using a lot of different anti-hairloss items at the same time.
8. REN Micro Polish Cleanser
I really didn’t like this – the polish bits were too sparse and I don’t like how it smelt.
9. Secret Key Tea Tree Refresh Calming Toner
10. Swisse Deep Sea Hydrating Mist Toner
A couple of toners that I’ve been using for a while on alternate days. I’m not really a fan of either – I don’t think they did much for me.
11. Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical
I didn’t really understand the whole attraction of dry shampoo until the last couple of months. I mean, why don’t I just go ahead and shampoo my hair? Now I’ve realised that dry shampoo not just make your hair smell better, but it also gives a lot of volume if you spray under your hair. I’m a believer now. I think the scent for this is a little too childish though – not something that I want to smell of the whole day so I will be looking for other scents.
That’s it! It’s not my usual giant stash of empties but I’m definitely doing a much better job at using things up than a few months ago when I was all down and moody. Have you used anything up? It’s almost time for a new year – will you be doing a big clear out too?
Anyway, here’s hoping that everyone’s clear of all the rubbish – literally and metaphorically – from 2017 and that 2018 will be a wonderful year for all!
