A really quick round up of my empties in February – or at least Part 1 of it. There isn’t much, because I spent the month focusing on my studies and between the 8am-6pm classes and 1hour transport to and fro school, I barely had time to bother with my skincare routine or to do more than put on a bit of concealer before dashing out the door everyday.
1. Gillette Satin Care Wild Berry Shave Gel
I usually really like Gillette’s shave gels because they prevent nicks while shaving, but I think I got a faulty bottle because this feels really heavy but there’s no way I could squeeze more out.
2. Bourjois Micellar Cleansing Water
This claims to “removes makeup in one sweep”, which I don’t truly agree with; I don’t think it does a very good job with waterproof eye products, but it fares well enough on days that I’m too tired to do a deep cleanse.
3. Shiseido TISS Deep Off Oil
Had this for quite a while; this lasts really long! I do love it – it removes makeup, waterproof or not, wonderfully; and being an oil, it doesn’t strip my skin of moisture, and doesn’t leave behind an oily film.
4. Cellbydate The Real Galacto Zero Essence
Reviewed here. As mentioned, this was supposed to be a SKII miracle water dupe, but the performance is nowhere near the real thing.
5. Lush T for Toes Foot Powder
Let’s not talk too much about foot powder; it smells relatively nice, kept the feet smelling better than it naturally does in a hot climate.
6. Bliss FatGirlSlim
This claims to “visibly diminish dimples with QuSome-encapsulated caffeine”; honestly I don’t see any difference to my skin despite consistent use.
7. Veet Hair Removal Cream
Used this once but I think I’m allergic to it, so out this goes.
8. Kebelo Clarifying Shampoo
This is supposed to be a deep cleansing shampoo; I use this once a week because deep cleansing shampoos can be a little dry for my hair and I do like this. Doesn’t leave my hair dry and doesn’t have too much squeeky-clean feel.
9. Dentiste Plus White Perfect Gum & Teeth Protection
10. Colgate Toothpaste x2
A couple of teeny tiny toothpaste samples that I got from various beauty boxes and hotel stays; nothing much to say about them.
