Beauty Haul: The Cult Beauty Spree That I Couldn’t Resist

I love shopping on Cult Beauty because they stock up a lot of beauty products that are hard to get in Singapore and they are one of the few companies that take out local taxes when shipping overseas – which is always awesome since I don’t live in the UK. Anyway a few weeks ago there was a huge giveaway – their Spring Beauty Bag. I could never resist grabbing one of these when they’re available, and since there have been some items sitting in my shopping bag, I thought why not use this opportunity to snap them up?

The delivery took much longer than usual – I made the purchase on 27 February and only received it yesterday; I guess it’s still a decent amount of time since it’s mailed from the UK. There was also minimal packaging and I was positively surprised that nothing broke. I think they made some changes in their packaging and shipping, and it’s not a good change.

Anyway I’ve tried a lot of The Ordinary skincare products and I’ve loved nearly everything so far, so I thought I’d pick up their foundation to try as well; I bought 2 different shades because I wasn’t sure which one I would be – in 1.2Y and 2.0N. And of course, I couldn’t resist trying more skincare products from such an affordable brand so I picked up their Alpha Lipoic Acid 5%, Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% and a 100% organic cold-pressed rose hip seed oil. It’s amazing that all of them don’t even add up to GBP30.

Then of course, there are the bank breakers – the Viseart palettes. I’ve heard so much about them but have been holding off since they are quite expensive, but finally caved in this time. I blame it on Viseart for coming out with the smaller cheaper version of their palettes – the Theory Palettes. I bought the Theory Palettes in Minx and Cashmere, as well as a Theory Highlighter, Blush and Bronzer palette. And because I was missing about GBP20 to get the free goody bag, I threw in the Petit Pro 1 palette as well. I will probably be doing a review on them sometime in the near future, but I played with them quite a bit today and I suspect that I will be splurging on the larger palettes soon too.

And last but not least is the Goody Bag… it is huge! I will be doing an unboxing on it, probably tomorrow or in a couple of days, so please stay tuned if you want to see everything in it!

Have you tried anything in this haul? Or what would you like me to do a review on?
